V-arms vs. U-frame

TX2: this carrier is equipped with V-shaped arms, meaning the holders are not attached to a single central frame. This allows for more flexible positioning around the bike frame, even with uncommon or irregular frame shapes.
LX2: equipped with a U-frame to which you attach the frame holders.

Weight

TX2: weighs approximately 18 kg and can be upgraded from 2 to 3 bikes using the optional adapter.
LX2: a lightweight bike carrier weighing approximately 15 kg.

Extendable wheel stoppers vs extra-wide

TX2: features handy extendable wheel stoppers. Idealfor bikes with a longer wheelbase.
LX2: has fixed, extra-wide wheel channels (up to 10 cm).

Which bike carrier is right for you?

The choice you make depends on your plans. It’s best to go for TX2 if you:

You want to take your sports bike
You want to be able to expand to three bikes
V-arms for more flexible bike frame shapes
You have a longer wheelbase and are thereforelooking for wheel stoppers that can be extended

Choose the LX2 if you:

Looking for a lightweight bike carrier
Never need to carry more than 2 bikes
If you sometimes carry bikes with wider tyres than standard city bikes
